      Yes, not popular niches can be lucrative if promoted well. The “evergreen” niches which are very broad are very difficult to work with and succeed. However, taking time, developing your site, putting the needed effort into your authority building, can over time bring great results as well.

      In my opinion, it has a lot to do with the skills and knowledge one possess in a certain field. Furthermore, even if the niche is broad, narrowing the topiccan create also a very interesting topic and niche for the online marketer.   2. I for sure love your 4th point in your article! I wasn’t really aware that there are still so many people living offline. We take the internet for granted so often these days that we forget about the people that don’t have it (yet). I suppose that you’re talking about targeting a specific demographic like elderly people and geographical as well?

    • Yes, still there are many people without internet access. I am talking about the population that in general doesn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the internet benefits at home and possibly at work.

      They might use the “internet corners” or “internet café” or external access points but their own private access at home as the way of connecting to the internet and staying connected with the rest of the world all the time, 24/7/365.

      The other issue is “informatic knowledge” and skills needed to use the devices and the internet, in general. Although many people could have internet access, there are still enough out there that don’t know how to use it and how to start the online business. 

      It is why affiliate and online marketing have still huge potential to grow. It is also a reason for conducting researches about the demographic and geographic features of the targeted audience.
